Foil Me Once, Shame on You

Let’s be honest: Aluminum foil is one handy invention. We can use it to cover dishes we bring to potluck and to store some tasty treats for later. And since it’s so convenient to grab at the store, we buy it by the roll, ripping and tearing it for our latest needs in warm-eats coverage. The next time you finish a leftover, see if you can reuse that sheet on the next dish, extending the life of the foil and reducing your overall consumption. And, check with your local recycling program – many accept clean aluminum foil (along with cans).
