The whole “change your light bulb” thing may be a little played out – unless you’re continually looking for ways to save money and the environment. And since we’ve talked about CFLs before, it’s time to give you the skinny on LEDs. While these bulbs cost about 10 times as much as their curly cousins, they should last nearly 10 times as long, meaning they’re cheaper over the course of their lifetime (just ask our pal Jeffrey). So, if you can pony up the cash, do so – or at least get one to put in your most-often-used light fixture.
