Make Halloween Green

Even though orange comes to mind for tomorrow night, we’ll help you put a little green into your candy hunting activities:

• Collect your sweets in something you can reuse, like a trendy canvas tote. Avoid the plastic pumpkins that are made from oil and are only used one night a year.

• Be on wrapper patrol. Not everyone waits until they get home to dig in, so encourage the kiddos to pick up any trash they see.

• Walk it out. Use the evening as a chance to keep the car in the garage as you stroll from neighbor to neighbor.
