Make Halloween Happy

We hope you have a good time with the kiddos tonight. Now that you’ve made Halloween fair and now that your Halloween has become a Hallow-green (get it?), build on our suggestion from last year and use the excuse of tricks and treats to get to know your neighbors. Linger a bit and learn some names. Let people know you’re available and happy to help out. Our lives become more fragmented every day, and our longing for community grows ever deeper. Halloween reminds us it’s okay to talk to our neighbors. Let’s take advantage of that throughout the year.
