Nada for Me
At first Black Friday gave way to Cyber Monday. And now, it seems like many stores are taking the Friday out of Black Friday by opening their doors right after the turkey has been carved. You can stay out of this shopping whirlwind simply by pledging to buy nothing. Sure, there are deals to be had, but the Buy Nothing campaign does its part to remind us that the holiday season isn’t just about consumption. Instead, spend this Friday with loved ones eating leftovers, telling stories, making memories, or doing something together that doesn’t cost anything. Talk about savings!
