No Plastic Spoons

Cool People Care » » No Plastic Spoons

It’s really convenient to drop one in your lunch sack, but the resources used to produce that plastic spoon have lasting environmental effects. Instead, take along a metal version from home. It’s much easier to wash one of these than it is to make one of the others. Besides, you create no new waste, and you’ve got a shiny companion to join you for lunch day after day.
Petroleum (a non-renewable resource) is used to make the spoon. It may be easier to use something once and throw it away, but it’s better to save some precious natural resources.
