When you pull up to the first window at your favorite fast food joint, pay for the person behind you. This is a gamble, because they might have just placed the largest hamburger order in history, but take a chance. You can really make someone’s day by handing out a free lunch. Surprise someone and pay (for them) it (for their food) forward (when you’re ahead in line).
(This also works at dry-cleaner drive thrus, coffee shops, the grocery story, and any where else people are standing in line to pay. Put yourself out there and make a friend.)
