Random Acts of Christmas

Many of us have holiday cards and photos arriving by the mailbox-load this time of year. And while it’s lots of fun to give and get these from loved ones, you can really brighten someone’s day by sending them a card – even if you don’t know them. Go ahead and try it out. Take a blank card and flip to a random page in the phone book. Then, send them some holiday wishes (and explain what you’re doing so they’re not too confused). You’ll make someone’s day just a little bit better with a simple act of intentional community.
