Print on the back of paper you don’t need. Americans recycle nearly half of all paper used, but we have a way to go before we reach 100%. Actually, lots of paper that is recycled has clean backs. Make a separate stack of paper that has clean backs and feed this paper into your printer next time you need to print a rough draft or some notes. We recycle nearly 7 million tons of office paper already, but using it completely before recycling maximizes the process. Treat paper like a milk jug: don’t throw it out until it’s empty.
