The Revolution Will NOT Be Televised

I’m watching it right now. It’s how I keep up with sports. It’s how I met some of my first friends. It’s TV. And this week is TV-Turnoff week. Turn off the TV and do what? Read. Talk to your children. Write a letter. Read some more. Exercise. Call a friend. Rest. And the list goes on. The average child spends 1,680 minutes each week watching TV. That’s 360 five-minute blocks. And we all know what you can do it just five minutes. So, join the club and make it a TV-free week. Your wallet thanks you.
