Saving the World with Entrepreneurship

It was fun to do, so I asked Tim three quick questions. Enjoy:

What is Beyond the Pedway?
Beyond The Pedway is a website dedicated to discovering what drives creative entrepreneurs. I’m looking to get to know the people behind the ideas and why they’ve taken a trip down the entrepreneurial road. Most people seem to have a reason of some sort for wanting to start their own business or explore other options than the traditional corporate job, so I’m trying to dig down and discover what that reason is.

What does Tim Jahn care about?
I care about the creative individual who swims upstream. I care about people working to improve their lives, improve the lives of those around them, and improve the lives of society as a whole. Seeing people change the game entirely, change the rules, or make their own rules, is what excites me.

What is so cool about entrepreneurship, in your opinion?
Entrepreneurship is cool because it allows people to truly shine for what and who they are. One of the most common things I hear from entrepreneurs who left the corporate world is that they felt too restricted or bored. They didn’t have a chance to really challenge themselves, or explore things that really interested them.

Being an entrepreneur really allows you to do that. You can discover more of who you are and what drives you to do what you do.
