If you have a musical instrument gathering dust somewhere in your house (perhaps the result of a New Years Resolution that never quite panned out), don’t let it keep sitting there. There are many nonprofit organizations that would love to have your unused instrument and donate it to someone who needs it. Here are a few we found:
- Operation Happy Note provides instruments for deployed US military personnel.
- The Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation provides instruments to under-funded music programs.
- Hungry for Music and Charity Music both put instruments in the hands of kids to explore their musical talents.
