There’s something about a routine that makes it so, um, routine. Get out of the rut of the ordinary way of doing things by varying a behavior or two:
- Drive a different way to work
- Brush your teeth with a different hand
- Eat something you’ve never had before
- Watch something new on TV
- Listen to a new band or musical artist
- Tie the other shoe first
- Give away more money that you normally do
- Wake up 5 minutes earlier
- Make a new friend (and tell them about us)
By changing a little thing, we can gain a new perspective.
