Supplies for Schools

As the school year gets under way, begin to plan how you can help a nearby school. Lots of schools need things like books, notebook paper, pencils or art supplies. Students need new clothes, school uniforms, shoes and backpacks. Make a commitment as a family or gather together folks from your office and round up supplies and take them to a school. Call beforehand and see what’s needed most and then pool resources or go through the supply closet to meet those needs. By doing this small act, students will be able to learn and succeed in their classrooms.
