Talk About Prescriptions

Education is vitally important when it comes to children and medications. The [NCPIE Coalition][] promotes safe medicinal use, and this October is [Talk About Prescriptions Month][] with the theme of ["Are you Medicine Smart?"][] Learn some of the ways you can be educated on prescriptions and children. Always follow instructions for over-the-counter medications. Make sure to ask for childproof bottles when you pick up prescriptions from the pharmacy. Talk to your children about medications and make sure they know never to take any medications without an adult helping them. Learn the facts so that you can be Medicine Smart.
