At some point this weekend, make sure to tell your mother (or similar figures) how important she is to you. Hopefully this is something that you do more than once a year, but if not, take the very marketable occasion of Mothers’ Day to salute the women who have given and taught you so much. Even if they don’t receive an online gift, some handy lotion, or a donation made in their honor, moms everywhere appreciate kind words from their children. Whether you use a pen, email, a telegram or smoke signals, make sure your mom knows she’s appreciated.
