If you’re wrapping those gifts soon, try some of these ideas instead of traditional wrapping paper:
- Use a nice dishtowel to wrap small gifts, and tie it with a biodegradable ribbon.
- Find a nice sweatshop-free blanket to wrap those larger gifts.
- Create your own picture paper.
- Get some standard brown packaging paper, and decorate it with paint, stamps, colored-pencils or crayons.
By doing this, the wrapping itself acts as a creative part of the gift. It can be a fun art project, and it helps eliminate the cost of buying wrapping paper at the store.
