Time to Share

The idea of collaborative consumption is growing. And whether you swap stuff with people around the world or are just looking to borrow something in your hometown, more and more tools are becoming available to help us share everything from tools to ideas.

Case in point: check out Neighborgoods. This innovative idea connects you with people nearby via their online tool. After creating an account, you can enter your “inventory“, meaning anything you’re willing to share with someone nearby. And, you can enter search terms for something you have a temporary need for (and don’t want to purchase) like a power washer or a book.

Some communities are more built out with Neighborgoods than others, but this only means it’s time to round up a few of your pals and start sharing!
