What a perfect day to trash your friends. Well, not literally of course – just virally. That’s the idea behind Trash Your Friends, Not the Ocean, a cyber-prank you can pull to raise awareness about the economic and environmental harm of our addiction to single-use plastic bags. Today of all days, you can “trash” your friend’s Facebook page, or their favorite website (any page) with a sea of floating plastic bags. Why not make a difference April 1st by letting someone experience what it’s like to have their personal space (even if just virtually and temporarily) “trashed” by plastic bags.
