Unchop a Tree

Watch this moving 3-minute video by Maya Lin (designer of the Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial in Washington, D.C.). Using moving imagery and music, she challenges us to combat deforestation in an effort to make our planet better, greener, and healthier. If you’re not familiar with the term, spend a few minutes learning about deforestation and how you can fight it around the world (90 acres of rainforest are destroyed every minute and threaten half the world’s species with extinction). Then, share what you learn with a friend (or pass along the video) and help “save two birds with one tree.”
