What's a Zebrafish?
Children see opportunity everywhere. Generation Cures of Children’s Hospital Boston inspires children to harness their imaginations in order to help those in need. The organization encourages children to create fundraisers that benefit cancer research at Children’s Hospital Boston.
Zebrafish are small, transparent fish used in scientific research. Children’s Hospital Boston uses a variation of zebrafish to study diseases such as leukemia. Zebrafish are also the namesake of Generation Cures’ successful animated web show about a few friends who hold a fundraiser for a hospital where one of their friends is treated for cancer.
In each of its episodes, Zebrafish demonstrates that any child can help someone in need. This spring, Generation Cures announced the publication of the new Zebrafish book, adapted from the animated series. Both inspire children to take action into their own hands using their imaginations.
Cool People Care is happy to announce that we will be giving away a free copy of the new Zebrafish book to a reader. In order to enter the drawing to receive a free copy of the new Zebrafish book, simply comment on this article. We will choose at random one reader to receive the book.
Generation Cures truly shows that children are vitally important to charitable causes. Through their generosity and compassion, kids transform their creativity into hope for those less fortunate. With Generation Cures’ Zebrafish we can inspire children to change the world.
