When the Iceman Cometh

Cool People Care » » When the Iceman Cometh

In the doldrums of winter, we often find our automobile windshield with a fresh sheet of ice on it most mornings. Then we traipse outside, start our car and use a little elbow grease to scrape off what’s accumulated while our toes freeze and our car spews pollution while it idles. But there’s a better way. If the forecast calls for ice, make a nice water-and-vinegar mixture to spray on your windshield the night before (or you can even substitute it for your windshield wiper fluid during the cold months), which will result in less carbon and salt pollution.
