Your Biggest Fan

Cool People Care » » Your Biggest Fan

Fans are cool. In the summer, moving air across our bodies is one of the cheapest ways to stay cooler while running the air conditioning less. In the winter when the heat is on, fans circulate warm air around the house. However, they also use quite a bit of electricity, especially if you leave them on all the time. Don’t run ceiling or room fans when you’re not in the room to feel the breeze, and operate central air circulating systems on the “auto” setting, rather than with fan on all the time. Your electric meter will thank you.
